With over 20 years of experience in finance and strategy, he has a proven track record of driving growth and creating value for middle-market companies.

His entrepreneurial journey includes the successful sale of his family business to a major conglomerate, an experience that provided him with invaluable insights into the world of M&A and strategic transactions. This experience fueled his desire to help other businesses achieve their financial goals, leading him to found WM Ventures.

Mercy Wakweika is a Founding Partner and Managing Director of WM Ventures (WMV), a strategic financial and operational advisory firm. Leveraging her extensive background in M&A, investments, and strategy, Mercy empowers businesses to achieve transformative growth. Coming from an entrepreneurial family, she is passionate about guiding companies through critical growth stages.

At WMV, Mercy specializes in providing strategic financial leadership, growth strategy development, capital raising and M&A advisory, strategic AI evaluation, and executive team and board support. She serves as a trusted advisor, driving shareholder value through her hands-on approach.

Mercy's career includes leadership roles in finance, strategy and corporate development at various companies - both public and private owned. She also held leadership positions at Bank of America, Monitor Deloitte, and Deutsche Bank. She holds an M.B.A. from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Morgan State University.
